Welcome to Smarct
I’m Ndanatswa, founder and Business Process Consultant based in West Sussex, England. With over six years of experience in business analysis and a strong academic background (BSc, MSc, and an MBA in progress with a focus on Project Management), I help organisations understand and improve how their work is carried out day to day.
I’m APM-qualified and have completed professional training in Data Analysis and Service Design and Management with ServiceNow, which supports a structured and thoughtful approach to improving how work flows across teams and processes.
Alongside my consulting work, I serve as a Project Evaluation Lead and Project Champion Volunteer at Barnardo’s. In this role, I review and evaluate information across workstreams, support performance tracking, and help teams make sense of how their work is progressing. This has strengthened my ability to spot patterns, improve clarity in reporting, and support more informed decision making.
In December 2025, this work was recognised through the Marsh Charitable Trust Volunteer Awards, where I was named UK winner in the Business Services Volunteer category for my voluntary contribution at Barnardo’s, where I apply skills in data analysis, evaluation, and process improvement.
My sister, Cynthia, is the Director of Smarct and is based in Ireland. She regularly travels to the UK to support business development and internal work. With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll Services, she brings a grounded, operational perspective that supports how we think about structure and delivery.
At Smarct, we work closely with businesses to understand how their processes currently operate and where things can be made clearer and easier to manage. The focus is always on practical improvements that support real people doing real work. We work with skilled developers and analysts, and when needed, we bring in trusted partners to meet specific technical needs.
Example of My Work
At Barnardo’s, one of the projects I supported involved survey evaluation work, where I reviewed survey design, logic, and performance metrics to ensure they aligned with organisational goals and produced meaningful insights. I identified gaps in the existing process and recommended practical improvements to improve clarity, accuracy, and efficiency. I also developed a migration approach for moving to a new survey platform, mapping the workflow, addressing risks, and ensuring key evaluation measures were retained. My recommendations contributed to the adoption of the new platform, which is now in use with ongoing improvements and performance reviews embedded in the process.
